Megaloblatta blaberoides is a gorgeous and very large (up to 10 cm long) cockroach species found throughout Central and South Americas. It is a harmless creature. In response to disturbance, cockroaches produce warning sounds by rubbing body parts against each other (as grasshoppers) and also emit a disgusting smell.
